In flexible garment manufacturing scenarios, the IoT capabilities of intelligent sewing machines build a dynamic response system through equipment interconnection and data interoperability. Relying on Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) protocols, sewing equipment collects process parameters in real time—such as stitch length, thread tension, and sewing speed—and synchronizes them with the MES (Manufacturing Execution System). When order requirements change, the system can automatically adjust production line scheduling based on real-time capacity data, enabling process-level linkage from cutting and sewing to quality inspection.

For example, in the case of small-batch, multi-batch orders, the system analyzes equipment status and the process database to dynamically assign sewing machine groups equipped with specific stitch patterns or presser-foot configurations, while simultaneously optimizing material flow paths, reducing style-changeover time by more than 40%. In addition, digital dashboards provide real-time visibility of production progress and abnormal events. Combined with predictive maintenance modules, this effectively reduces production downtime caused by mechanical failures, forming a closed-loop control chain from order input to finished-product delivery.
