1. Scope of Application
These procedures apply to all operators using the circular knife cutting machine to ensure safe production and reduce accidents.
2. Operator Requirements
· Operators must undergo safety training, be familiar with the equipment’s performance and operating procedures, and hold a valid work permit.
· Operating the equipment under the influence of alcohol, while fatigued, or in poor physical condition is strictly prohibited.
· Operators should wear appropriate protective gear, such as safety gloves and protective goggles.
3. Equipment Inspection and Preparation
· Before operation, check the power supply, switches, and emergency braking device to ensure they are in good condition.
· Inspect the circular knife blade for sharpness and ensure it is securely fastened. If damaged, it should be replaced immediately.
· Ensure there are no obstructions around the equipment and keep the work area clean.
· Adjust the cutting size, pressure, and speed to meet production requirements
4. Operating Procedures
· Before Starting: Ensure all protective devices are intact, connect the power supply as required, and perform a no-load trial run.
· Cutting Operation:
1.Place the material in the cutting area and ensure accurate positioning.
2.Keep hands away from the blade and use tools to assist with feeding. Pushing material with hands is strictly prohibited.
3.Start the equipment and cut according to preset parameters while monitoring its operation.
4.If any abnormalities are detected (such as blade jamming, unusual noises, or incomplete cutting), stop the machine immediately and inspect it.
· Shutting Down: After completing work, turn off the power and wait for the machine to come to a complete stop before cleaning the workspace.
5. Maintenance and Upkeep
· Regularly inspect the blade for wear and replace any dull or damaged blades promptly.
· Clean the blade and machine body after each use to keep the equipment free of debris.
· Periodically check transmission components, bearings, and belts to ensure smooth operation.
· If any abnormalities or malfunctions are found, stop the machine immediately for repair and report to maintenance personnel.
6. Safety Precautions
· Do not clean, repair, or replace the blade while the machine is running.
· Unauthorized personnel are strictly prohibited from operating the equipment or standing in hazardous areas.
· Direct contact with the rotating blade using hands or any part of the body is forbidden.
· In case of an emergency, immediately press the emergency stop button and disconnect the power supply.
7. Accident Handling
· In the event of a safety accident or equipment damage, report immediately to the supervisor. Concealing or handling the issue independently is prohibited.
· Injured personnel should receive first aid promptly, and an accident investigation should be conducted according to company regulations.
These procedures take effect from the date of issuance, and all operators must strictly comply.
